Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Three years ago the Lord took me to beautiful San Cristóbal, Guatemala on my first Mission trip with my home church Central Christian in Wichita, Kansas. God kept that door open and provided for me to return the following two years; and each year, He continued to work in me as I struggled to give Him all of myself. He has now brought me into a closer relationship with Him using this mission work to completely change me and my perspectives on the world, focusing my mind and my heart on things eternal. For this I am eternally grateful.
Through these mission trips, He has shown me a great need and has given me a desire to teach English to the children of Colegio Mesón, a school in San Cristóbal offering a high level of academic education in a Christian environment. As an outgoing individual, I know that God will use me to not only teach English to the students but to also be a strong Christian mentor in their lives, someone they can confide in for advice and prayer. Outside of teaching English, there are many opportunities for outreach in the community as a positive Christian influence.
I am a Kansas girl, born and raised in Valley Center in a loving family with my parents and two brothers. I am also Aunt to two beautiful nieces and two handsome nephews who mean the world to me and with whom I spend most of my time. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in May of 2018 and currently work as academic advisor for Hutchinson Community College in Newton, Kansas.
We are called to be a light in this world, and I desire just that. It is a big undertaking, and I need your help. Prayerfully consider how you might become a part of something bigger than all of us. Whether you are able to support me through prayer or financially as God leads you, God will provide all things to the glory of His name.
Thank you and may God bless you as you bless others.
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Phillipians 4:13
